Senior Personal Care

Who Are the Caregivers at Right at Home in Pasadena?

Caregivers at Right at Home in Pasadena work with a care manager behind them, so your family always has someone to call. Here is who comes to the home, how they are screened and trained, and who to talk to when needs change.

This is non-medical home care. A free consultation is the best way to talk about who would suit your family member.

Who comes to your home: our caregivers

Every caregiver goes through background and reference checks, and every caregiver is bonded and insured. That is the baseline before anyone is placed in a client's home.

We do not assign caregivers by availability alone. We look at interests, personality and the services your family member needs. A caregiver might help with bathing, dressing, meals, walking and transfers, or with light housekeeping, errands and companionship. The care plan you agree on sets the tasks.

Caregivers support daily routines. They are not nurses, and clinical treatment needs a separate healthcare provider. For what each service covers, see personal care and senior in-home care.

Not the right fit? Switching takes one call

A good match matters in someone's own home. If your family is not satisfied with a caregiver, you can switch to a different one with a single phone call.

If you want to talk about a replacement and how care continues in the meantime, ask your care manager.

Care managers: your point of contact

Care managers can be reached 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Vanessa Soto is our Client Care Manager.

It starts with a free assessment, when a staff member visits the home to understand what your loved one and your family need. Questions about updates for family members, such as who the authorized contact is and how reports are shared, are best settled before care begins.

Languages, service area and the owner

We support English, Korean, Spanish, Japanese and Chinese. Tell us your family's language preference in the consultation, and we will talk through what can be arranged.
